At a point in time where patients charts were to be switched over electronically several years ago this practice is still using paper charts. During a time when Physicians cannot prescribe this doctor wants you to make an appointment to come in and pick up a prescription for every medication you need refilled. Why because he has no patience coming into the office. In a town which is predominantly made up of senior citizens many of whom don't drive it having a physician who is desperate for some change that you have to go to his office to pick up a refill is not exactly senior friendly. The office is an outright disgrace it is dirty it is hot the equipment looks like it's from 1950.. Do yourself a favor get yourself a real doctor if you can find one in this County!

Back in 1995 this doctor saved my life. He sent me to a specialist who discovered tumors and one was cancer. I don't want to go into all the details but the Urologist told me that Dr. Wert did in fact save my life and if I would have come later the cancer would have spread and it would have been too late for me.

I called the office and asked for a physical - Nothing in depth, completely normal. WITHOUT asking my age, the receptionist said, "Aren't you a little young?" I'm over 21 years old mind you... Then, she asked for my medical conditions to which I replied with several. Without asking my needs, she said to "go elsewhere, we can't help you," and when I replied, "All I need is a physical and I'm looking for a new primary, that's all" SHE HUNG UP ON ME! Don't go to this RUDE doctor's office!!! Didn't even give me the time of day... GREAT way to start off a relationship with new patients. I didn't even get to make an appointment, and they didn't even know me! HORRIBLE service, HORRIBLE receptionist, and HORRIBLE office! I'm actually glad they were rude because I looked up more reviews and saw they were all bad. I dodged a bullet - make sure you do too!!!
