Dr. Douglas Alan West, MD

Dr. West was prompt in seeing me in the office. His staff was friendly and professional. His bedside manner was great, very professional. Right now my problem is very annoying and frustrating. I need relief and answers. We have a plan for short- term treatment of my situation. In case there are other underlying issues, tests have been ordered. I feel very good about his competence, medical knowledge and attention to detail. I would recommend my friends or anyone else to see him if and when the necessity arises.

Had one of these, he said it would be negative before it was started, so why did I have to go through the unbelievable painful procedure? $$$$He beat me out of the office,no pain meds, never again.

Traveling from out of State . Dr West took great care of me ! Took the time , ordered tests , and procedures ! Thank you so much for being so understanding and caring !

So very happy that I got confirmation from medical personnel at one of the hospitals that West practices at in this backwards town. This person confirmed that the entire urology clinic is incompetent and has bad reputation among hospital staff. WOW! I knew it all along, glad to have it confirmed to me. Please people, educate yourself, don't use Urology Care, Inc. Keep yourself healthy, go to competent doctors , not in Jefferson City for sure! Also, his office is filthy!

I have learned more about my condition and preventative care by researching on the internet than he learned in 4 or 5 years of med school. Don't waste your time nor money on this guy. At least try to search for the best doctor that is sincerey trying to help you. This guy only cares about the almighty dollar. He is a real DUD!

There is not a chance in h e l l that I will ever set foot in the doors of urology care in, in Jefferson City MO. West is probably the most incompetent doctor in the world. His patient rooms are dirty, really scary the thought of it. He does not care about preventative care for his patients. His nurse Laurie is a pro at rolling her eyes at you if you have a question. I cannot believe that he even has a practice at this point. So glad that I left town for better care. I would not even give him a star for any of his care; he is pathetic. Please leave town Dr. West, if you think you deserve to even be called a doctor - I don't, you are a complete dumb a s s.!

Another thought! If you want a comparison of how incompetent West is, think about Obama. I would like to throw Obama in the Amazon to be eaten by crocodiles. I think maybe West should go along for the ride. Worst president of our lifetime and worst doctor in my lifetime.
