Almost 3 years ago, I had balloon sinuplasty for chronic sinusitis and frequent acute sinus infections. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Daily sinus headaches and other symptoms related to chronic sinusitis resolved, really improving my quality of life. Dr. Bloch is an excellent doctor, skilled in this procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Bloch and this procedure for anyone dealing with chronic sinusitis and frequent acute sinus infections.

Lights up the exam room when he comes in the door. Makes you fell welcomed and that you are in good hands with plenty of knowledge. Real serious , smart , but very approachable when you have questions. A good doctor that I can strongly recommend.

For as long as I can remember I’ve had a problem breathing through the right side of my nose also with sleep apnea I wasn’t sure what the problem was when I was referred to Dr. block he told me that I had a deviated septum and the only way to fix it would be surgery a procedure called septoplasty I have had the surgery and for the first time I am breathing so freely and sleeping very well without having to wake up in the middle of the night trying to catch my breath it was very uncomfortable and a little scary.Since the surgery it has made such a change in the way I breath it was worth everything I went through the recovery was a little uncomfortable but painless The staff and nurses made me feel very at ease very professional and very courteous Dr. block did an amazing thing to help me relieve my breathing problem I would refer him to anybody who has a problem with deviated septum

Very kind doctor. Took time to evaluate and explain. I went in for one concern that turned out not to be a major problem and during the exam he discovered I had accumulated wax in both ears and took care of that too.

Dr. Bloch is an excellent surgeon. He recently took out my sons adenoids and the surgery went very well. He took his time to explain to all of our options, and only suggested surgery as a last resort, following numerous infections. Highly recommend!

About two years ago, my wife was admitted into Danbury Hospital Intensive Care Unit with a diagnosis of Lemierre's Syndrome. This very rare condition was caused by a blot clot in her jugular vein. She quickly became sepsis and her major organs began to shut down. Dr. Bloch was called upon to remove an abscess from her neck. He could've removed the blood clot but wanted to save the jugular vein, if possible, which would have to be removed. Three days later, I noticed that the dressing had dried blood and a puss-like substance. I called Dr. Bloch's office and left a message with his receptionist. Within two hours, Dr Bloch was at my wife's bedside and thirty minutes later she was back in surgery. This time Dr Bloch had no option but to remove the blood clot, and that portion of the jugular vein, as the clot was deteriorating the vein. After surgery, Dr Bloch patiently explained the procedure, implications and prognosis for recovery. It is not hyperbole to state that Dr.… Dov Bloch saved my wife's life (and mine). I admire and appreciated his expertise and much more, importantly, his sense of urgency, when he realized that something was wrong.
