Dr. Abid Bashir, MD

My first nephrologist whose erratic behavior forced me to search for another nephrologist was a very bad experience. It was a lucky day for me when Dr. Abid Bashir agreed to take me as a patient. I find Dr. Bashir to be extremely intelligent with an ability to interpret the complexities of lab reports coupled with care and concern for your overall health. I feel to make this all work it is also my responsibility to educate myself. I have recommended two friends who were in need of a nephrologist and they have been very satisfied. I highly recommend Dr. Abid Bashir.

The clinic is staffed with his family - wife and kids. That is okay at a hotel or restaurant - the family running the business. BUT this is a medical practice/clinic. The staff - none of them white - go to the wife with questions/approval. Plus, Bashir is clearly bias. Met him recently - he was barely civil. Not someone to go to for help.
