Dr Abraham Mintz, MD

Dr. Mintz has treated me for both cervical and lumbar issues with great success. He has an excellent bedside manner. He has an excellent office staff and assistant practitioners.

Dr. Mintz did my back surgery. I went from being extremely limited in what I could do, to being able to do whatever I want.

Doctor Mintz was everything that I could have asked for from a spine specialist. My back pain and the pain shooting into my leg had not been cured by physical therapy and chiropractic care over the course of three months after my car accident. My primary care doctor ordered an MRI which showed two average sized herniatied disks that were contacting my nerves. My doctor then sent me to Doctor Mintz for a consultation, my Doctor said that Dr. Mintz handles the toughest cases of brain and back surgery, and if that I needed to have surgery, a disk herniation would be a walk in the park for Dr. Mintz. This was very true, after my first appointment and a failed injection, I found myself with the options of facing surgery or constant pain. I chose the surgery, and I would have done it the day after my accident if I could have. I had a two disk fusion and immediately felt the horrible pain had gone away. I had 10 days where I needed and was given a heavy dose of pain medication, but the pain… following the surgery was totally different and manageable. My rehab has gone smooth and I am up and back to myself already, two months after the procedure. I have to be careful still and still need to strengthen my back, but I'm so happy I decided to go ahead with the surgery with Mintz. I now tell everyone with back pain that I know to see him and to not be afraid to let him help.

Dr.Mintz and Dr.Girasole did emergency surgery on my daughter in law's back recently .They did a great job! The problem was one of the worst they have ever seen. God Bless both of these Dr's !

Dr. Mintz is an awesome Neurosurgeon. He was not quick to operate on me but after 2 years of suffering with a herniated cervical disk he did the operation. He was very thorough in his explanation of what I should expect. His bedside manner was tremendous. His follow up is unequalled. He is a very talented man that is all that a neurosurgeon should be and more. (I even told him that I loved him as I was coming out of anesthesia. I don't remember but he told my husband. :) ................ Trust him, I did and I am so glad that I did.

Dr. Mintz is probably the best nerosurgeon around! One word to describe him, "Brilliant". He assisted in a back surgery with Dr. Girasoli and it was a huge success!! I can't say enough about this surgeon. Aside from his expertise skill and extensive knowledge,he has a great bedside manner, a positive outlook and great sense of humor, which totally relaxed my husband and I. Even though the wait was a bit longer than I would expect, he was soo soo worth the wait. He did an outstanding job on taking care of my husband's back issues relative to the nerves. I highly recommend him! Prior to the surgery, my husband had no real quality of life. Dr. Mintz help to change that and we will be forever grateful! Thank you Dr. Mintz!!!

Dr. Mintz is a skilled, conscientious surgeon. He explains the procedure to you in detail. I just had a cervical discectomy with a 4-level fusion. He was caring and concerned about me. I was scared senseless before the surgery and he was very caring before and after. My surgery was complicated, but successful - thanks to him & Dr. Girasole. If you need this type of surgery - he's the best you can get, don't settle for 2nd best.

He's an excellent surgeon. I would highly recommend him.
