Dr. Adam Burzynski, MD

Dr. Burzynski has been very helpful to me. We have tried all the options avaliable for my very arthritic knee with a tear in the meniscus. Had surgery to remove the torn portion,, MRI, cortisone shots, brace, and fluid removed. He wanted me to try all options, knowing a knee replacement is a big decision. Unfortunately, nothing seems to help much so we have decided a knee replacement is my best option for quality of life and mobility. He has given me all the pros and cons I am confident in my decision. Surgery will be done this summer.

A great guy who takes time and never makes me feel rushed. I believe he will go far in his profession. What great parents must have raised this fine young man! My only complaint is with Excelsior in NF where I am closest to. I have neck problems and hard for me to drive. THEY would NOT give me an appt. when I needed it without going to Sheridan. I am only receiving a cortisone injection. It takes 2 seconds. Next time I will ask to talk with the doctor to see if he would fit me in. I KNOW his answer would be

This doctor has changed my diagnosis repeatedly. Telling me my meniscus was bad then it was a minor tear now it's not a tear it's frayed. There is no consistency with his diagnosis or treatment plan. First I was told we will have to consider surgery, then nope I'm not a candidate for surgery because he changed my diagnosis. Now I'm being told I have no more treatment options. Horrible horrible treatment. This man made it clear to me he doesn't care about his patients and I wasted his time. I can only hope he gets a doctor that treats him the way he treated me.
