I have been seeing Dr. Attar for a little over a year. After experiencing some very unusually abdominal pains I started seeing Dr Attar. It took several months to properly diagnose my issue given that I am under 40 we did not start my assessment with a colonoscopy. Dr. Attar was very patient and has great bedside manner. He truly cares for his patients. I have cried to him several times and he has always been very comforting. Dr Attar is often running behind because of the time he takes with his patients. This may cause frustration for those in the waiting room. However, when you are the patient he is spending the extra time with it makes a difference! I find all of his staff to be very friendly.

Long wait time. The doctor considers his time more valuable than yours.

Dr. Attar is a compassionate & professional doctor. He’s preformed colonoscopies x2 and an EGG on me. Thankfully everything was great. The only downside is it takes forever to be seen at his office and his staff isn’t the friendliest. Lastly if everything is good I don’t want to have to come in for a follow-up visit.

He was very careful to work with us to find the source of the pain. He doesn't order extra tests. What he ordered was necessary to show the direction of the needed treatment and he was right. We are very sure that he was really interested in helping us. He is a great diagnostician. Other doctors had no idea what to do. Dr. Attar listened to us and we followed his advice. Now the pain is under control. We are very happy with his help. He talks quietly with a slight accent, but he is a very smart man and an excellent gastroenterologist. We recommend him highly.

Dr Ahmad does not listen and does not spend quality time with you. He requests you keep coming back to run up bills. He has 1 phone line that is busy all the time. No receptionist to answer or call you back with results. He does not follow up with you and when you call office you can't get through. Wait time - 4 hours. When you have major issues running to bathroom all the time it is very uncomfortable sitting in wait room for 4 hour. Does not care how long you wait. Should not be overbooking if you can't see people in timely manner and listen and treat appropriately.

DR. ATTAR IS THE BY FAR THE BEST DR I HAVE COME ACROSSED. I AM A RN, NOT WORKING NOW BUT THIS MAN TAKES TIME AND DOES A COMPREHENISVE HISTORY AND IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE. HE IS CONCERNED ABOUT EVERYONE'S HEALTH. BEDSIDE MANNER, I SEEN ONE NEG. COMMENT. BEST BEDSIDE MANNER YOU COULD ASK FROM A DR. DR . ATTAR CARES ABOUT EACH ONE OF HIS PATIENTS. I AM GOING TO HAVE AN ENDOSCOPY SOON, I WOULDN'T TRUST ANYONE ELSE BUT HIM. I HAVE HAD OTHER HEALTH ISSUES AND HE CONSULTS WITH OTHER PHYSICIANS TO MAKE SURE QUALITY OF CARE IS EXCELLENT. I WAS REFERRED TO HIM BY ANOTHER PHYSICIAN WHO PERSONALLY SEES HIM. STAY WITH THIS DR. HE HAS SAVED MY LIFE.

dr attar is an excellent physician. excellent bedside manner. accurate diagnosis. kind. personable. caring. he goes out of his way to care for people from his heart. he is a fine man and competent doctor and I recommend him to everybody. he is the best gastroenterologist in town.

office visit did not disclose that the scheduled out patient proceedure would not be covered at 100% by insurance as it had been in the past resultin in a very expensive high co-pay.
