treated my Dad worst Dr ever none compassionate

I was with Dr. Fatoki for 13 years. I referred all of my friends and family to him because of his skill and caring manner. I am filled with tears this morning because after just getting out of the hospital, I went to my follow up visit, Fatoki refused to see me because I had a $200 balance and had no further money outside of the copay to pay him. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance and I had my copay... I am a single mother who has 2 kids in college and I am taking care of my mother who lost her job and my grandmother with Alzhiemers. I work part time but I pay for my insurance through my job. As I sat in his office breaking down, his explanation was some woman owed him 1700 and then went to another doctor. He never even considered I have been with him for 13 years and never ever considered another doctor. He tried to tell me if I needed food, I would have to pay cash. He didn't care that I have lived on soup for 3 days and had to borrow money for gas to drive to his office. I am… greatly disappointed in Dr. Akin Fatoki. He was a great doctor when he started. Now it seems he is just after as much money as he could get. To have pay for insurance and a copay and still be refused because he raised his prices and I couldn't afford the difference.. To compromise a loyal patient's health for that is heartless, greedy, and unethical. I know you are not supposed to get attached to a doctor but it just breaks my heart that he has become so cold.
