very hard to get in touch w MD, does not respond to mutiple phone calls from the patient/care giver.

I've been Dr. Alan Dosik's patient since 2009 when I was diagnosed with 4th stage cancer. When deciding on treatment, I saw several doctors and Dr. Dosik was the most honest, providing clear and understandable information.   From my first visit, he was professional, and the soul of kindness and consideration.  I came away with a confidence I hadn't felt with the other doctors I'd spoken to. No matter how late, or how small my question he always returns my calls, patiently and thoroughly answered my questions. Six years later I am doing extremely, living a good life and that is  due to his considerable skill and dedication as a physician, his integrity and generosity as a human being.  I am very thankful to have found such a caring physician and cannot imagine what I would have done without the excellent care I've received from him and his entire staff. Should anyone find themselves in  the stressful position of needing an oncologist, I recommend Dr. Alan Dosik… without reservation.  I have every confidence in his care.

Dr Alan Dosik is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever had dealings with. I had chemo last week and was suppose to have surgery on Mon. Methodist Hospital informed today that my white blood count was low and they were contact Dr. Dosik to see if I could have the surgery. This was at noon today. I called the office and they said that they had given the paper work to the Doctor. I asked for the doctor to call me. he had not called the hospital, and it is now a 11PM and he has not called me. The surgery will have to be cancled.

Dr. Dosik is truly an angel. As the previous poster has mentioned, Dr. Dosik is very compassionate, caring, knowledgable and overall an extremely wonderful person. He is very patient with you and will answer any and all questions you may have. Even when the diagnosis is terrifying, he does his best to provide comfort and he gives you hope. I am thankful to have such a trustful doctors as Dr. Dosik by my mother's side as she battles cancer. Thank you Dr Dosik! We are eternally grateful to you!

Dr Dosik helps you to understand and manage your condition.He spends time with you ,not rushing , he listens attentively and answers any questions you may have in a manner that you understand.He has an excellent bedside manner.(that alone will have you feeling better) A very gentle and pleasant professional.He did a bone marrow biopsy on me, but before the procedure he took the time to explain fully what he was going to do and what I should expect during and after.Dr.Dosik was compassionate,very, very, patient and extremely gentle.I always leave his office having my questions answered and the surety that he is available anytime should I have a problem or any feeling of uneasiness about my condition.I highly recommend him to anyone in need of an oncologist.
