Treats you like a friend and is an excellent surgeon.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Franklin. I see him in his office and he has operated on me several times. He is one of the nicest and kindest physicians I know and is very experienced in his field.

I would be totally blind were it not for Dr. Franklin's execellent care.

Dr. Franklin has taken care of my son for the last six years. He is very considerate of my son's needs, and keeps me informed.

Very caring and an concerned. I went in to see him on a Friday evening at 6:45PM. there were three of us waiting. The building was deserted, I thought I was in the wrong place or it was a back alley operation but about 6:30PM he rolled in followed by his staff, came into the building, introduced himself and took the three of us waiting us to his new offices and immediately he and the staff started working with the three of us. Evidently my retina detachment was of the mostconcern to him, he personally started making phone calls to assemble a staff and location to do surgery the next day. Outpatient surgery on a Saturday a rarity in that part of the world. By the time I left he assured me I would have surgery the next day to reattach my retina and he would call me and let me know where and when. He called me several times later that evening to keep me apprised until he was finally able to give me a time to report. I am not from the Gulf Coast. I was at the beach by myself for an… extended stay. Dr. Franklin's concern was very comforting. I am still recovering but my husband and I plan to drive down there in two weeks for a followup visit with him rather than being refered to a doctor locally.

Dr. Franklin is a non emotional type that concentrates on your condition. He will present your problem to you in terms you can understand and will answer any questions to your satisfaction. You must ask questions. He is totally focused on fixing his patient. I have nothing but admiration and respect for his ability. He is definitely a keeper.
