Alan L Kalischer, MD

My wife and and I have been using Dr. Kalischer as our cardiologist for several years. He has all needed equipment in his office, and qualified assistants skilled in the use of tests that are required. He has a great staff including a wonderful PA to ensure that we have the best care.

I've been going to Doc for 15 years since i moved here from Brooklyn. ! I've had afib and now having operation for a valve replacement. Doc is right on top of it and has referred me to other great docs for an Ablasion and now valve replacement! If i need to call him off hours he is always there for me! Thanks for always taking care of me!!

Easy to talk to and takes his time. Explains the plan of care. Office neat and clean

Very efficient office. Dr Kalischer is knowledgeable and is very thourough. Answers all questions . I would recommend him to anyone with cardiac issues or concerns

He billed false diagnosis which on her permanent record & has to pay additional $$ for her insurance premium. Always did unnecessary tests for the $$. Gave her unnecessary meds which made her always dizzy dropped her BP. Was nasty to her when asked him questions. Bills insurance at high levels even if he saw her a week later for follow up. Needs to retire!

Went there to take my elderly father there he is 88..my father don't understand certain things you have to explain things a little slowly and calmly to him he has congested heart failure,,he has some confused patterns more so with the heart failure now. The doctor said this will be the last time I deal with your father ,he disrupts things here , my father is not a bad person he needs a doctor that can show compassion not rudeness,doctor said I don't want your father waiting in the waiting room,he disrupts. When we got home I called the doctors office asked what we did wrong, staff said they didn't t know what happened, I put my father on the phone my father said if the doctor wants me back let him know and I'll be happy to come back we don't understand what we did wrong after that phone call I got a call and believe it or not from the police they told me we've been calling too much and not call the doctor's office unless we have a medical issue then the cop asked me did we steal two… bulbs from the Hanukkah fixture in the waiting room I couldn't believe this I said no of course not we don't steal I take my father there because he's got bad problems incredible we're getting another doctor,

I find Dr. Alan Kalischer to be through and efficient with my health care.

Staff is late and unconcerned. Doctor has always run late or reschedules constantly. Doctor has a very poor attitude towards women. Doctor has taken over a patient list from another doctor and has much more than he can handle. You would be better off elsewhere!

The office staff is arogant and cold. Everyone appears to have an "attitude", including the doctor who is abrupt, rude and indifferent. I also got the impression that he had a temper. He didn't like it when I questioned him about my condition and made me feel like I challenged him. I simply wanted a clear and concise explanation of my diagnosis. Went a couple of times and found myself a new doctor.

I was completely disappointed with my experience at this office and with Dr. Kalischer. The office staff could not be more rude. Dr. Kalischer himself actually amde me feel like he was doing me a huge favor by seeing me. I was nervous, as I am only 44 years old and did not expect any sort of heart problem. When I said I was nervous while he was doing a sonogram on my heart he let me know, in no uncertain terms, that he would not "deal" with a patient who couldn't handle the diagnosis. It's funny how you think of all the right things to say once you leave. Wish I would have asserted myself more and let him know that how he treats people is important. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I have found another doctor.
