Dr. Albert B Ross JR., MD

I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy done by Doctor Ross and absolutely love him, he makes my husband and I feel so comfortable both before and after my appts. with his sense of humor and his great bedside manner. Not only is he friendly he takes his time and thoroughly explains things in plain language.

Very professional and capable.

Dr. Ross is well known in the medical community. He isn't however the best in the practice at MGI. He is nice and personable, but plays it safe and pushes western medicine, he does not support alternative types of treatments. I do not like the MGI office staff at all and dread going there.

I have found Dr. Ross to be a wonderful, caring, accurate doctor. He is very through and his bedside manner is wonderful! Unfortunately, he is a part of Michigan Gastroenteroly Institute which treats patients very disrespectfully. The front office staff are very, very rude. They are hassled and bothered by the patients and they make no secret of it. You are bothering them and they let you know you are; whether by outright ignoring you until they are done talking with each other or speaking very condensendingly to you. The are short on the phone, unwilling to help out or think outside of the box if you don't fit into thier little round holes. Thier customer service skills are almost non-existint.
