Dr. Aleksandra Granath, MD

Dr Granath saved my life. Before I saw her I was overtreated by another rheumatologist who gave me drug which supressed my bone marrow. I had infections back to back and required treatments to increase my counts. She stopped the unnecessary treatment put me on Plaquenil and not only my RA is finally under control, I don't need additional treatments to maintain my counts from hematologist. Thank you Dr Granath, you are my angel!

misdiagnosed rheumatoid arthritis and pushed injections on my husband and tried to get him into a credit card program out of california before we had a chance at a second opinion. VA second opinion, with all of the tests she did not have done, said he only had old age symptoms and did not need any of those expensive/possible harmful medications.

Doctor Granath is very knowledgable and thorough in her examinations. She spends the necessary time with her patients and listens to their concerns. She responds to questions and emails in a timely manner and is very interested in the welfare of her patients.

I like Dr. Granath & her staff. She is a no-nonsense doctor, but I appreciate that. I want to be treated like an adult and get straight talk. She cares.

I inadvertently missed an appointment. I can say that I have no idea when the appointment was because I never received a reminder call nor did I have it on my calendar, my fault. However, I received a letter from her office stating that they are dropping me as a patient. I called the office to talk to them about it and literally got hung up on 4 times after 1 or 2 rings. I left several messages on the dial 1 and received no call back from her office staff. How unprofessional is that? Take my call.... all I wanted was to know when my appointment was and apologize for missing this appointment which is the only appointment I ever missed. in past appointments I found that her staff is rude and unprofessional and hard to understand due to broken English. Very frustrating. I do not recommend this office. It is unfortunate that she is a good doctor and surrounds herself with inadequate staff.

I wanted to just say this is one of the nicest offices I have been too! He staff is super friendly, and the dr is so smart. I am not sure why others had such a bad experience mine was WONDERFUL! I recommend this office for anyone looking for a rheumatologist.

Do not go to this doctor. Something is very wrong in that office and with the Doctor. Very very bad experience.

I wouldn't trust the latest review. This office is shady enough that they would put fake good reviews just to skew their rating. Very unprofessional staff. It was like dealing with 10th graders instead of adults.

Too bad that Dr. Granath doesn't seem to care that her staff is completely rude and unprofessional. I would have given 0 stars if I could have. Another patient said blackballed and that's exactly what they do. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND GOING TO THIS DR.'S OFFICE!!! I had been calling and leaving messages for a week to make sure they received the REQUIRED Dr.'s referral. Since I DIDN'T get a return call after 4 days I drove to the office to find out what was the status. When I got there the "Office Manager" said they never got my referral. So I contacted my Dr.'s office and they resent the referral, no problem. When I went back to the desk to let them know, I was treated like I was never going to see the Dr. They were unwilling to make my appointment even though THEY never called me and I had to go out of my way to finally get information from them. Then, when I pointed that out, she told me they closed at noon, it was literally 12:01 and I even let an elderly lady in front of me in line,… and she couldn't make my appointment. They were so rude with excuse after excuse and an attitude to match. When I told the "Office Manager" how rude they were and ask how she would like to be treated this way when trying to get an appointment, she got more of an attitude with me. In the end, I found out from my Dr.'s office that the referral was sent and received, 5 days earlier, because they got a confirmation fax saying it was. This office had no plan in making an appointment for me and supposedly Dr. Granath knew it. This is the experience I had (along with many others, check out other reviews about the office staff) and I wasn't even a patient yet. I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND ANYONE EVER GO TO THIS OFFICE!!!
