Dr. Alethea Turner

Upon my first visit; changed insurance so needed to find another primary care physician). Found admitting staff to be friendly and helpful. Assistants were comforting and knowledgeable. Dr. took time and explained everything in a calm and reassuring manner. Prescription and over the counter meds worked quickly and eliminated my symptoms quickly. I was called promptly with the results of my blood tests and was told to return in 2 mos for additional blood work. I was happy with my choice of care.

This is the second time I have been to see Dr. Turner AND the second time I had to go to Urgent Care just days after seeing Dr. Turner because she did nothing. I had to pay for not only her office appointment, but also for the Urgent Care appointment. Urgent Care was able to supply me with medication I needed which was just antibiotics. Horrible experience with Dr. Turner and I would not refer anyone to her. She is fresh out of school and has A LOT to learn. On what planet do you not prescribe antibiotics to someone that is coughing up yellow green mucus?!? And i had another issue i wanted her to take a look at and she never did because she was too busy trying to get to her next patient. They just try to rush you in and out of that place so they can cram as many appointments into one day as possible so they can honor their same/ next day appointment thing. I will not be going back to Dr. Turner and I don't suggest anyone starts.

I am a new patient of Dr. Turner's and the first time I saw her was such a pleasant experience and I felt like I could trust her right from the beginning. She was so informative and she was very helpful by answering all of my questions. I love the fact that I can correspond with MY DOCTOR if I have any questions or problems. It makes me feel secure knowing that I can email her and she WILL RESPOND. After having a totally different experience at my prior doctor's office, for the past 20 years, I am so happy that I changed to Dr. Turner. She is everything I want and need in a family doctor and I hope to have a long relationship with er
