If you can get past the office not taking phone calls and only leaving a message on a voicemail to get an appointment, this doctor is great, once you get into see him. He spent a really long time with me taking notes and coming up with a treatment plan. Highly recommend.

Doctor Mercandetti is a great asthma doctor because of his duel specialty of Pulmonary and Allergy. Most Pulmonologists know the lungs but he also understands the mechanism behind the asthma when it is allergy related. My asthma was never fully controlled until I saw a doctor with knowledge in both pulmonary and allergies. I have been with the doctor since 1990 and have referred him to my friends and family. Most of the time my appointments prompt and quick, with a few exceptions of when he has had an emergency at the hospital.

I have found the office staff less than desirable. Sometimes, I dread dealing with them,on the phone,or in the office someimes.
