Dr. Alexandra Luz Accardi, MD

Just because her style doesn’t work for you doesn’t make her a bad Dr. Find someone else. She has been great for me and for many others.

Ms. Accardi was suffering from her own mental breakdown while "practicing". One of her clerks bought her a sandwich with the wrong kind of cheese. Right in front of me she screamed at the clerk. She really lost her mind while dressing down this clerk. It was shocking to say the least. When I was leaving the office another clerk at the desk said, "I am praying for Dr. Accardi because she is clearly unwell." I didn't say anything but wanted to say, yes clearly. I really don't understand how she was given the clear to "treat" patients for so long.

It is about time they caught up with Ms. Accardi. I was admitted to the hospital for a physical ailment. The doctor that admitted me for my physical ailment was great. He had Ms. Accardi come to see me just to dot all of his i's. Accardi didn't like coming to see me even though she got paid well to do so. Ms. Accardi then threatened to put me in the psychiatry ward just because she was angry. I had a physical ailment at the time not a mental health crisis. Good riddance to a truly unfit "doctor".

Dr. Accardi was sadly and wrongfully allowed to practice psychiatry on sick patients while she was suffering from her own nervous breakdowns. Her superiors certainly were not paying attention to her erratic behavior and supbar performance. It says a lot about our medical care. She never should have been allowed to practice in the first place. Patients suffered needlessly because of her malpractice. Shameful. To say Ms. Accardi was unfit to practice is a gross understatement.

What a relief to see that MS. Accardi is finally been held accountable for her unprofessionalism treatment and mistreatment of patients and her staff. She is incompetent and totally unprofessional.

I would be tremendously remiss if I did not respond to those individuals that have taken the time to verbally bash Dr. Alex Accardi on this site. I have been a patient of Dr. Accardi's for over 8 years and have found her to be compassionate, caring, professional and respectful. I have battled anxiety for over 40 years and have dealt with a number of therapists without much success. The day I met Dr. Accardi, there was an immediate connection and relief that I had finally found a doctor who is truly a gifted and caring person who treats her patients and guides them on a journey to better health. Yes, at times, there is a longer than average wait to see her; but that simply means that she is taking extra time with someone that needs her. My journey has been a difficult one. I can honestly say, that without the help of Dr. Accardi, I would not be the strong, confident person that I am today. It is difficult to be a mental health professional. You don't apply stitches or a cast and… the patient experiences immediate relief and healing. It is a process; for some a long process. Dr. Accardi has given me the tools to move forward, to embrace life, and to deliver the same compassion to others that she has shown me. She has, without a doubt, changed my life for the better.

THIS DOCTOR IS RUDE, CRAZY AND I COMPETENT! GET A REAL PSYCHIATRIST. ACCARDI IS HORRIBLE!

Dr Accardi is nothing short of a nightmare. She is unprofessional, and crazy. She called my neurologist and PCP to badmouth me. I have had those doctors for 10+ years and had wonderful relationships with them. The things she does, im surprised she still has a license to practice medicine. In 44 years, I have NEVER, EVER, come across someone so unqualified to be within 10 FEET of patients.

DR. ACCARDI allows one of her patients to borrow and drive her car overnight! She is crazy and very unprofessional! She is a risk taker!

After a week of calling and leaving messages finally got a call back. Should have been my first clue. Rude in the phone. Rude when I arrived at the office. Stay away.
