Dr. Alicia Renee Privette, MD

I came in with severe abdominal pain after an accident. I initially didn’t go to the ED after the accident because I felt fine but several hours later I was vomiting and felt excruciating pain so we went to the ED. I was miserable and the wait was long but the nursing staff were great and very attentive so I was feeling hopeful. That is until Dr Privette came in. She completely dismissed my symptoms, wouldn’t order imaging, and asked repeatedly if I was drug seeking. I’ve never wanted nor asked for opioids, only for imaging and treatment of any kind from the excruciating pain. The MA and RN were very apologetic for Dr Privitte’s behavior and I could tell they were trying to fight for me. Fortunately my neighbor is a surgeon and when I told him my symptoms, he insisted I immediately go to another hospital to check for internal bleeding. At this point I was weak, sweating, and feeling very sluggish, so I left for another clinic where I was immediately taken for imaging which in fact… showed a severe internal GI bleed. Dr Privette’s horrible and rash judgement was inexcusable.

Wife was in a serious car accident and Dr Prevette was on duty when she was brought into the ED. She took great care of my wife throughout her stay in hospital. She is a compassionate caring doctor something you do not see in most doctors today

Initial consult was prompt, informative and to the point. Dr. was able to fully explain the procedure and answer all questions.
