Imagine a female version of Dr. House without the genius part. Rude. Chip on her shoulder. Has an agenda. Most likely won’t be able to get the medication you need. Don’t walk, run away from her.

Does not listen to her patients.

Does not listen. She gets cut backs on meds so you'll walk out with a lot of prescriptions you dont need. How do I know this--went to another dr and he was concerned with all meds from dr. Knowlton. Could of damaged me.

This was the first time I'd seen this Dr, I usually see a different Dr but I was able to get in sooner if I saw Dr Knowlton....I see why. She laughed when I told her about my pain and that I'd prefer not to have my gallbladder removed. Told me I needed to have an ultrasound, wrote up the order and walked out. Didn't ask me if I had any other questions or concerns, just walked out. Worst Dr I've ever been to.

You can get into see Dr. fast and that is because she is in and out fast when she is seeing you. Not a very warm person. In this day and age and economy when healthcare is very costly she could be a bit more sensitive to thoroughly discuss options. Just not the warmest Dr. I have known. I do not want a "chatty kathy" for a dr, but I would appreciate someone I could INVOLVE in my healthcare instead of her telling ME how I feel etc.

Very caring - does all she can to reduce fear. Many doctors ignore concerns, but she listens and helps! She has a great personality too. I usually get an appointment in less than a week for check-ups, same day for ailments. Test results are usually mailed to me, so there isn't a personal follow-up, but I like having results in writing.

Could not be happier with this Dr.

I have been a patient of Dr. Knowlton's for 7 years + and she is an excellent practioner. She is very thorough and listens to your concerns and answers any questions. There is not a long wait to get into be seen nor a long wait in the waiting room. If you live in the Bountiful, UT area and need a primary care physician you can't go wrong in checking out Dr. Knowlton.
