As someone who works in quality assurance at another hospital, I have high standards when it comes to healthcare. I took my 5-year-old daughter to see Dr. Muniz Crim, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care we received. From the start, the doctor was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive. The doctor and clerical staff made both of us feel completely comfortable and supported throughout the visit. They were very detailed in their approach, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer all my questions without rushing. I especially appreciated how educational the experience was—the doctor didn’t just treat the issue but also helped me understand what was going on and how to manage it moving forward. It’s rare to find a provider who combines such a high level of professionalism with warmth and compassion. Dr. Muniz Crim saved my son's life! For months he was unresponsive to treatment plans from our local pediatric gastroenterologist after being diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. His body was rapidly deteriorating, and he was unable to live a life outside of the house. Within a week of seeing Dr. Crim and following her treatment plan, he was a different child. He immediately started gaining weight and energy, and was finally able to enjoy life again. We travel from Naples to Miami just to see her, and our family is forever grateful for her knowledge, confidence, and compassion she gave our son. Dr. Crim is the best of the best!

Dr Muniz Crim takes time and care to listen to patient’s concerns and answer family’s questions. She is very responsive and easy to reach . We had a great experience with her.

I love her so much she listens to my needs for my son. I can call the office anytime that I’m concerned. I have an issue with my son been seeing her since my son was two years old and he is 17 now.

The children's gastroenterology department has the most unprofessional, awful customer service I have ever encountered. We were supposed to get lab and xray results for my baby who has been throwing up for weeks and has not been growing properly, and for 10 days I called the office and left messages requesting they contact me with results and to make a new appointment. It took 10 days to even be able to speak to a human being instead of an answering machine despite calling multiple times a day at different times. The results had been in their records since the week before and not only had they not bothered to call or follow up, but they had not responded to my multiple messages either. We've switched doctors and will not be returning but I wanted to warn parents to NEVER take their children to the specialists at Nicklaus, particularly the office of Alisa Muniz Crim.

Dr. Muniz Crim is amazing, the problem is the office staff does not respond to calls or answer the phones.

I have been seeing Dr. crim for six years she is one of the most caring doctors I have ever had. She will not sugar coat your diagnosis but she is so caring and smart I did not feel overwhelmed.
