Dr. Amy Elizabeth Hughes, MD

Dr. Hughes was new to me last fall after my regular oncologist retired. So, i've seen her only a few times since last fall. One time, she seemed pretty hurried, but I hoped the next time would be better. She was definitely better, had a great bedside manner, took the time to answer questions, and provided alot of information. In the beginning I wasn't sure about her as I had lost my favorite oncologist, but now, I'm glad that I have her.

I have been going to her since my last oncologist retired. Sometimes she tends to rush things, but overall I am glad she's my physician there as she explains all my questions.

Dr. Hughes is compassionate, professional and straightforward. She is the reason I'm still here. We are lucky to have her.

Was given my DX rushed out leaving me with me with more questions and concerns, I tried to call her back but she would not return my calls instead got her nurse who was very rude and acted very rushed and was not much help Button line, called The Cancer Treatment Center in Illinois and have been seeing them for a couple years, very impressed, Doctors and nurses treat you with respect and will listen to your concerns. Remember, you're in charge of your health and if you're being treated like just another appointment, change your doctor! Not endorsing CTCA just my personal experience!
