Dr. Anand Dolarbhai Bhuptani, MD

I went to see Dr. Bhuptani as a specialist for chronic lung irritation. He didn't act like a specialist at all and seemed to prefer to jump to one of the common diagnoses. He ignored everything I told him such as not being short of breath and concluded that I had asthma. He decided that I needed a prescription inhaler before I even had a breathing test. The breathing test which I had before leaving his office was negative for asthma, but he still insisted I use the inhaler. Naturally, it had no effect. He is very arrogant and does not listen. He even tried to convince me that I had symptoms that I didn't have because the lack of symptoms didn't fit his hasty diagnosis.

I have been waiting for the results of a sleep study for 2 weeks.

Been his patient for 7 mos. Had appointment scheduled for 12-15. A few hrs before appointment he cancelled and rescheduled for 12-26. I questioned the date 3x's, was assured that date was correct. After cancelling a few Christmas plans to meet this appointment, when I show up the door was locked and no one there. A little peeved and in search of a new Doc. No confidence in him or his staff

I WOULD SUGGEST THIS DR TO ANYONE WHO HAS COPD. I HAVE HAD DR. BHUPTANI FOR 15 YEARS AND WOULD NOT HAVE ANYONE ELSE FOR MY LUNGS.
