Dr. Andrew Benjamin Weiss, MD

Dr. Weiss saw me in first thing on Monday after I dislocated two toes over the weekend. He took good care of me and fixed me up despite being very swollen due to two days after my dislocation. Thanks to him and his staff I won't need surgery. I seriously couldn't be MORE grateful. Dr. Weiss is a great doctor and has a wonderful staff.

I have gone to Dr. Weiss on several occasions and while I find him to be a very nice man with a pleasant manner, I was disappointed in the treatment, or lack thereof. I first went because of a problem with my back. I asked for x-rays, but he said it wasn't necessary and when I told him I have a history of disc problems, he said everyone my age does. And that was it - told me to wear a back support. The next month, when the pain was so severe I went to a back specialist and he took x-rays and found problems other than "what everyone has" and prescribed meds and had to have an injection. Then the following year had an accident and injured my foot. After it not improving over a period of months, I went to Dr. Weiss - again, he said I didn't need x-rays and that it was just a bunion and that the accident caused a flare up. Nothing that can be done but wear good shoes, not sandals. I then went to another doctor who was recommended to me, and he took x-rays and found that the… accident caused a problem with stretching of the connective tissue and that the bones were out of Alignment causing even more pain. He gave me a cortisone injection into the joint and gave me something to put in my shoes - I may have to have another injection, but I am now able to walk without a limp and a great deal of pain. So my review - beside manner - 4 stars diagnosis - ZERO
