Dismissive of severe abdominal pain. 2 office visits in February and March 2025. Had severe upper and lower right abdominal pain, unable to eat for months. ER visit at St. Peter's on March 5th. CT scan did not give clear diagnosis, therefore was told to find another surgeon as Dr. would not do a laparoscopy to find the source of my debilitating pain. By the grace of god I am here today as I found another surgeon quickly who saved my life and finally pain free; David J. Dupree MD who did laparoscopic surgery as I had acute appendicitis with stool calcification , gall bladder removal for sludge, and adhesions.

Dr Camerota is an excellent surgeon. He explains everything in detail and is very caring. His office staff were great and the surgical team and anesthesiologist at St Peters University Hospital are top tier

Doctor Camerota performed the newest robotic laparoscopic surgery on my husband for his hernia. He is a very gifted and skilled surgeon in his field. The entire experience was from start to finish was seamless! His office is great and the hospital St Peter’s he is affiliated with gave excellent care. Thank you to everyone from the Aydins!

What can I say about Dr Camerota and his staff except excellent excellent excellent. No one would look forward to the types of surgical procedures I had, but if anyone made you feel confident comfortable and well cared for it was the office of Dr Camerota and his assistants Richa and Hazima. They were with me every step of the way answering questions, I'm sure I asked repeatedly. This is a wonderful practice that I would highly recommend. The pre and post-op care I received at St Peters was extraordinary. Thank you to all.

Dr Camerota performed Laparoscopy gallbladder and hernia repair on me. My experience with both him and his staff has been nothing but friendly and warm. This guy his staff and scheduler are the rudest coldest people I’ve dealt with and I’m in the industry. He didn’t explain anything and his scheduler was straight up poor to people. They reek.

Had a simple procedure with him that turned into a disaster. A simple gallbladder surgery turned into 3 surgeries, and similar to previous comments his office refused to see me for post op care. I could've avoided so many complications if I was seen for post op. Wound up with a post operative infection.

I am very grateful to Dr. Andrew Camerota, who saved my life when I was referred to him a year ago for a complicated and frightening condition--volvulus of the stomach. My stomach had actually flipped upside down and moved up into my chest because of a paraesophageal hernia. Dr. Camerota was able to correct this condition laparoscopically, which meant that the recuperation time was shortened considerably. I found him to be both competent and compassionate. Since the surgery I have felt so much better that I feel like a new person. I cannot thank him enough for what he did for me.
