Dr. Andrew Tien Phan, MD

Horrible ego maniac. I had repetitive motion injuries from working at Starbucks. He told me I was weak, out of shape and that the pain was in my head. I was "not athletic" and that was my problem, rather than actual tendinitis... See ANYONE else, he failed me dramatically.

I had a slightly elevated PSA (1.85 when my age rating was 1.75). Dr. Phan performed a digit test as part of my annual physical (47 Years Old). He said that my prostate was "a little firmer than I like" and set up a biopsy. Some of my tests were up to 50% cancer, but the margins were clear. I had a prostatectomy 2 months later and have been cancer-free for 4 years. Thanks to his early diagnosis, I have had a full recovery from cancer.

Dr Phan is a kind, gentle, obviously very intelligent fellow.

I work in medical education and think Dr. Phan is one of the best physicians I've ever met. I have recommended him to friends, who have also been happy with his care and his attention to detail. He has open and honest communication with his patients and is willing to consider patient preferences for alternative treatments.

This guy is excellent. I would hire him!
