Dr. Angel A Nunez, MD

What a disappointing experience..lacks professionalism, refuses to provide patient w affordable meds, dogmatic, rude, doesn't appear to care, too busy (his words) to find more affordable meds for patients. Despite my repeated request for less costly meds, he appeared non-caring of my physical discomfort.

Unprofessional, lacks compassion and a didn't offer any help finding a an affordable med. D Refused to find something else because he says I could sue him if I had a reaction to it. It was an odd communication. Nov 2019. DG

Tried to make a new patient appointment. They asked for a Doctor referral then that had to be approved after some interview questions from Doctor. The appointment was made a mount later and I was suppose bring a current x ray and all records from my other Doctor. The notes could could have been requested by his office and would have been faxed over. Very strange procedures and seems he either does not want new patients or wants to interview who he wants to treat. I heard other people had the same experience. I found another Doctor.

Wait times are ridiculous. Have always waited at least 45 minutes. I work too and my time is just as valuable as his. Should have more time in between appointments if he knows he is always late seeing his patient. How would he feel if we came an hour late for every appointment. At least have staff make a courtesy call that he is running late.

The most thorough exam I have had by a specialist OR by any of my Primary Care Managers. He didn't miss a beat; in fact he noted items that I neglected to add to the new patient medical info form and recommended I seek treatment for isues he noted iutside of his field. I refer him everyone who needs him, although it is understood that he tends to treats the more severe cases. I was told by his office staff that he only takes new patients that are referred by other specialists. (I did not verify this statement.)

D. Nunez found my lung cancer on a random chest xray while I was hospitalized with heart problems and saved my life. He is very thorough and very compassionate. You could not find a better doctor. He set up my plan of care with oncologists in the area. If you have any type of problem this is the doctor to see.

Dr. Nunez is a very thorough pulmonologist. Up to date with all of the current treatments.

Absolutely the worse bed side manner I've ever seen in a physician. Has no professional courtesy. Several other specialist refuted his diagnosis.

Abrupt and lousy bedside manner. Seems to have an agenda. Asks questions of the patient however he does not allow the patient to respond. Seems to be rather negative. I will not be making a return visit.

Received exceptional care in 2014 during my stay in ICU for 5 days and following. Extremely knowledgeable. Very thorough in his review of overall health situation and implications with recommendations. Very sensitive to appropriate medications and their interaction. Staff friendly and efficient. Under his ongoing care.
