Dr. Angela Kay Fryer, MD

I moved from Pueblo several months ago when I was 7 months pregnant to the area. I needed a new O.B. and was referred to Dr. Fryer. I can honestly say she is better than any O.B. I have had previously. She caught an issue that could have been detrimental to my unborn child and sent me to a high risk maternal fetal doctor right away. I had asked my O.B in Pueblo on several occasions if it was in issue which I in return received a big NO. Dr. Fryer is not only thorough she is friendly, knows my first name by just seeing me in the hall, not by looking in my chart! As for previous reviews that state she is a terrible doctor don't believe them! I am a nurse and I know a good doctor! People get so caught up with their pain medicine and when they are going to get there next prescription that they get upset with everything in their path! Thanks Dr. Fryer for your excellent care!

This doctor said she submitted the paper work for a test I need. But when I checked with Hospital to see if she had submited the paper work. They said she nor her office had filed the paperwork for my needed test. Also failed to sign my prescription for narcotics that I take. She makes it quite difficult to get the care I need. I would not reccomend this doctor to anyone. She is NOT PROFESSIONAL, she neglects her patients then blames the mistakes she makes on her patient. Rude and not at all what appears on internet about her she is not compassionate or understanding. I told everyone in Hosptal how she treated me. They were surprised that a colleged educated Doctor could act in such a manner.

I have to say this doctor told me on 2nd visit that she practically refused to treat me. Why? I take narcotic meds and my regular doc left and was replaced by Fryer. She told me she would not give me my meds becasue she beleaves that narcotics should only be given for 3 reasons. Terminally ill, cancer patients and only after surgery or broken bones. Which I have none of the above. I have chronic back pain with arthritis. I followed all the rules of this clinic down to the fact I had to pea inside a cup for them. I have been treated quite poorly. Forgets to sign prescription forms etc. I like to be treated with dignity and respect. fryer has treated me with suspition and mistrust and lack of respect. And all this was just after 2 visits with her.
