Dr. Angela B Wingfield, MD

I had an appointment on February 2, 2023. I was concerned about one spot on my face, I have a history of skin cancer. I carry insurance and paid a $55.00 Co-pay (which I thought was high even for a copay) my app. was with Barbara Droddy. She walked in the room; it was obvious she was sick. A day later I'm out of work sick with the Flu. Day after that my wife was sick. medicine and missed days of work $850.00. As mad as I was that the doctor was seeing patient while sick with the Flu. I was really shocked when they called and said I owed another $139.00 plus what the insurance covered. Dr. Droddy was in the room with me less than 5 minutes and remove one legion from my back. The expense for this extended over $330.00. This is absolutely unacceptable. This was the worst experience. A general physician and lab work WITHOUT insurance is less than $300.00. WHAT A JOKE!!!!

Despicable the front desk is so rude I can’t believe how anyone would let the front office staff talk to their patients like this I asked to see the office manager and she was just as rude and uncaring as the front office staff this is going to cost this doctor business no one wants to be treated so rudely when they are in need for medical car.

Beware negative reviews on other are deleted so no one see the real true. Over all the doctor is good but it’s all about the money, front desk staff will not book you an appointment if you own the littles debit, I was suffering with hives and the staff canceled my appointment over $50 no one seemed to care about the health and pain I was in, they sent me away and blocked me from see the doctor thank goodness Dr Lewis in Gulfport saw me that day, it’s not about caring and compassion for the patients

Have seen Dr. Wingfield for years, now even have my four children see her for skin care, moles and warts. She has given us nothing but the best treatment and I would trust her with any skin care.

I had several moles and spots for Dr Wingfield to look at. She thoroughly looked me over, removed 2 items I identified and two she found suspicious. I was in and out in 20 minutes.

Could not be more satisfied!

The ease of getting a prompt appointment was surprisingly good. Once I arrived and filled out the required paperwork, the wait of 45 minutes seemed to be a bit long, considering that the waiting room was almost empty when I arrived. The staff was very friendly and courteous, the exam room clean and well lit, and the examination was thorough and I was not rushed. Except for the time spent in the waiting room, I was well pleased.

The examining room is dark and dingy with inadequate lighting for a dermatological examination. The examining table is up like a chair and is not comfortable. It should be flat with a pillow so that the patient can turn over for a backside examination. I went for a thorough check-up of my skin. I did NOT receive a thorough check up of my skin. My appointment was a total waste of time and money.

Dr. Wingfield and her staff are excellent. They go out of their way to help their patients. They have been treating my daughter for acne for a few years now and have been wonderful!

I have never had a bad experience or felt like I was being "ripped off". I have never had an issue with being charged too much. Dr. Wingfield is knowledgable and kind and quick. I go in several times a year for my daughter for acne and wart removal. We have also had appts involving laser treatment and had no problems. I highly recommend Dr. Wingfield.
