I have seen Dr. Yakhmi a few times now. I was having serious digestive issues and each time I have seen him, his bedside manner has been less than pleasant. After his office called to have my appointment moved up, when I arrived, his first question was "And what are you here for?" I take notes on each visit and when I brought up something from a previous appointment he asked, "now why did I say that?" Also, on the day of the procedure I was having, he came into my room and asked "now what are we doing today?" I giggled and thought he was joking at first, but it was definitely NOT a joke... he was serious. After the third visit with this man who proceeded to tell me each time I saw him and had a question that "he had been doing this for 30 years" I will not be going back to him. I am having the same issues, with no answers. Will be looking for a different gastro and would not refer ANYONE I know to this doctor.

Had a colonoscopy done, woke up halfway through it with excruciating pain. This doctor refused to treat my pain, also lied and said he did not have a DEA license number. Horrible bedside banner, will not listen, not a good G.I. doctor for someone that needs help

I have seen this doctor several times. The first meeting was fine. Had a scope done and thought it all went well. However, when I went back and he couldn't find my problem he was very unpleasant. In fact, he almost had my daughter in tears with how he treated me. I had just had cancer surgery and was still in a lot of pain. He was a complete A..hole. I will never go back to this man.

Will not answer your questions. Felt like cattle being herded through for colonoscopy

I have been a patient for almost a decade, and I am switching doctors. The doctor is not friendly, cuts you off when you are talking, and seems very uncaring. The staff, particularly his nurse, are just as bad. He is very short with patients, and doesn't seem very concerned. I would not recommend this doctor.
