Dr. Anna Elizabeth Burgess, MD

Dr. Burgess is the best Primary Care Physician I have ever worked with. I have a variety of health care needs & specialist. She takes her times not to miss any specifics & always eager to communicate with my other Drs so that I can get the best care. Dr. Burgess is rare in that she is not a medicine pusher. I have found that her goal is to find & fix the problem, instead of treat the symptoms & that is so refreshing to have a doctor who shows her genuine care about your health. She is extremely knowledgeable in all areas, but it also not cocky in that she is honest when a referral is needed, to be sure you get all the care you need. Did I mention she is cute and sweet as a button?! I have since had my parents and all family members switch to her as their PCP.

I knew from the moment I sat down with Dr. Burgess during my grandmother's appointment that I wanted her as my primary doctor as well. She is well educated and very intelligent yet has a common sense approach that instantly puts you at ease. She listens and you can feel that she truly hears you and cares. I was amazed and touched watching her deal with my grandmother; you can see she has a passion to help and a connection with her geriatric patients. I made the change and began seeing her myself and have never regretted but been thrilled with my decision. Dr. Burgess is yet another Jackson clinic doctor that I trust and now lovingly call "family".

Experience with Dr. Burgess excellent. She was knowledgeable of overall medical history and findings/treatments, during recent hospitalization, before she came into room. Wait time short. She was professional, kind, thorough, genuinely concerned about health issues and treatments. I highly recommend Dr. Burgess.

Waited an hour after appt. and finally saw her. No personality or interest in what I was saying. Charged me a fortune for an office visit that would have cost me $65 somewhere else and when I called to ask them about it the lady was rude, matter of fact and condescending! No thanks!!
