Dr. Anna Leonidovna Marina, MD

I've seen a lot of doctors in various clinics and hospitals for very complex care and Dr. Marina is a rarity among doctors today. She actually listens, doesn't automatically dismiss everything you say, ASKS HER OWN RELEVANT QUESTIONS UNTIL SHE UNDERSTANDS THE SITUATION AND THEN.....SHE TAKES ACTION TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY! All of my "Specialists" have me taking more repeat tests, aren't interested in past CRITICAL medical records that aren't in their system, send me to other doctors and rarely prescribe any treatment until my flare is so out of control, that I'm hospitalized. it's been physically, emotionally and financially debilitating. I am so grateful to have found a doctor that cares and that inspires me not to give up on my life and my health like most doctors have consistently done the past 5 years. The only drawback to report, is that it's continuously near impossible to get in to see this doctor. It's been a 2-3 month wait to get in every time, no matter what… the circumstances. She also has some unprofessional front desk staff in my opinion. I saw office phone calls being ignored while she was on her cell phone, and rude/curt interaction between patients checking out and checking in. Again with the cell phone...the lady with the thick, long black wavy hair. She was the worst. I got the same from her as other patients did. She seemed to be annoyed that she had to put her phone down and try to find a place to schedule anyone. But this is not Dr. Marina's fault. Hopefully 1 employee won't damage the hard work being done by the others here and by this great doctor--who seem committed TO ACTUALLY HELPING PEOPLE!!!
