Very good doctor. Kind, smart. Would recommend.

Could not follow a simple protocol from my daughter's physician. Lied to me about where she was sending her in the hospital and completely ignored my requests. She's way too afraid to sedate children and her own staff that have to work with her said that is her main problem. You cannot let a child suffer because you're a minimalist when it comes to giving pain medication and sedatives. My best advice for you is that when you have a chronically ill child and her parents are telling you what the child needs and you go against that you're making a huge mistake. Sometimes parents, especially when their mom is an icu nurse, might just know what they're talking about. 8 years Dr. Salinas that we've had to get to know her. You cannot waltz in and tell me your job is to get an IV and labs. No, your job is to treat MY child on an individual basis which is what your job says. She's not a number on a list that you check off. I hope in the future you will learn to open your ears to… parents.
