Dr. Anne O Rodriguez, MD

I couldn’t have picked a better surgeon than Dr. Rodríguez. She is incredibly accomplished, highly skilled, and truly caring. I was diagnosed with Granulosa Cell Cancer which was very scary. She understood my fears and answered all my questions. She’s unique in that she messages back the same day. I couldn’t believe how quickly I recovered from surgery. My bikini line scar is already so thin and light. Dr. Rodríguez is truly dedicated to helping save lives and I’m so grateful because she saved mine. I can never repay her for that.

I saw Dr. Rodriguez in 2016, and she spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. She performed a Robotic hysterectomy in Jan. 2016, and did an excellent job. Her followup was great and my entire family found Dr. Rodriguez to be a caring doctor and exceptional surgeon - I can barely see the scars on my stomach. Two thumbs way up - Dr. Rodriguez made a scary experience easier with her concern and thorough explanations.

My wife had a hysterectomy a number of months ago with Dr. Rodriguez. The procedure had some complications and my wife had extended bleeding. Dr. Rodriguez did not check in with my wife prior to her checking out of Cottage Hospital and my wife was never told that she would be going on vacation for a week directly after the surgery. My wife only learned about this upon calling her office to ask questions about the bleeding. The backup doctor was challenging to make an appointment with and my wife felt as if she was on her own trying to diagnosis why the bleeding would not stop. Upon Dr. Rodriguez's return my wife was able to get an appointment with her. She was dismissive, defensive and was unable to offer any concrete advice despite my wife experiencing bleeding that only appeared in a very small percentage of women. We left that appointment feeling that if there was truly a serious problem that she would be more concerned about covering herself as opposed to getting to the bottom of… the issue and addressing it.

Very good and caring doctor with a horrible office staff who are lazy, non-compassionate and will never, ever call you back. And forget trying to get them to have the doctor call you. Doesn't happen. This is the Ventura staff. Don't know about her Santa Barbara staff. It's difficult to recommend this excellent doctor who has such an awful staff.

Unknowingly cut open small bowl during a Da -Vinci robotic hysterectomy at Santa Barbara Cottage hospital.. Which exposed her to a flesh eatting bacteria to which caused my mother to die 3 days later in the ICU

Dr. Rodriguez is very accomplished. A very, very good doctor. I had no problems with my procedure and had a very quick recovery. She is good at explaining everything and quite understanding. I did not even need any pain medication at all. Her office staff leaves a lot to be desired. If I call with a question they will not call you back, or leave you holding on the phone. I do not think they can handle their duties very well.

She is knowledgeable and has a warm and assuring bed-side manner. A true joy.

Doctor Rodriguez is very down to earth, easy to talk to. Answers questions and explains treatment and prognosis. I am due for a hysterectomy next week, and after talking to her, I felt at ease and have full confidence in her abilities as a surgeon. I'm so glad I was referred to her, she's the greatest!!

Dr. Rodriguez was caring and very fast to get me the help I needed. She is always patient answering my questions and speaks in terms I fully understand. She's excellent!
