Annliza Lachica Piacitelli, MD

I went to Dr. Piacitelli for a routine exam. At no point during the exam did she tell me it would not be coded under “routine exam”. Six months later I get billed for the appointment. I had it in writing that my insurance would cover the appointment, but Dr. Piacitelli still refused. I am a special-needs mom so I understand appointments and coding, my husband is also an insurance agent. I battled it out with their office manager who was very combative and argumentative. They did not take proper notes of the dozens of phone calls I made, so they would not acknowledge any responsibility on their end. Please get everything in writing so they have to be held accountable! I was also told that one of my blood samples was not processed and I would not be billed for it. I had to have the same labs redrawn with another practitioner. Seven months later I just received a bill for those “unprocessed “ labs. I did some detective work and found out my labs were in fact processed?!? I was never made… aware of those results, and again they refuse to acknowledge any responsibility. l honestly do not know what kind of circus they’re running over there, but do yourself a favor and save yourself the time, energy and frustration!

Be cautious if you use this doctor. She left diagnosis off my chart, gave wrong meds several times(1 was an opioid), & had a bad attitude. When I tried to discuss, she screamed "Why are you nitpicking this,& it happened in the past!" I had been going to her 4 months. Her MA said they "were busy & talk to the Doctor." Office manager was no help.

Annliza Piacitelli is a wonderful doctor. She really listens to her patients and clearly explains everything in detail. She is very knowledgeable and personable.

This is one of the most patient and understanding and thorough doctors I have ever had I love her!

Dr. Piacitelli is a doctor who is truly dedicated to her patients. She always listens to what I have to say, what is going on with my health, and finding the best plan of action to make my health better. I truly appreciate all that she does for me.
