Dr. Anozie Anthony Ukaonu, MD

Dr. Ukaonu (aka Dr. Tony) is, bar none, the BEST Dr. I have ever had the privilege of meeting. I was a patient of his for several years, until I moved to North Georgia. Dr. Tony's bedside manner is outstanding. He does not rush his patients and take time to answer any questions posed. He does not dismiss any complaints of illness or pain with a one fit for all prescription. Although he works in a busy practice he makes sure that every patient receives fast care. I once was sent for blood work ( Within the same building). Upon arrival I had to wait in the small waiting area. About 10 minutes had passed when Dr. Tony happened to walk past. He stopped to see if I was still waiting. Once I confirmed this he walked into the room where they take your blood and checked to see what the holdup was. They had me in there within two minutes. Most Dr. would not have done that. Additionally, Dr. Tony, is keenly aware of how much procedures and tests can cost. He works with his patients… to make sure that he does not order tests that are not covered by insurances. If that is the case he tries his best to find alternate methods of examinations. This also applies to prescriptions. He tries to make sure that what he prescribes is something his patients can actually afford to get. Bottom line, if you want to find the best Doctor for your family, this is the one you need. He is fabulous. Other Dr. should train with him to learn bedside manners. We absolutely LOVE Dr. Tony.
