Dr. Anthony Forestine, MD, FACEP

Anthony Forestine, MD, FACEP, is a board-certified physician with over two decades of experience in the medical field. He attended medical school at the State University of New York, Downstate, where he obtained his doctorate. His residency was completed at SUNY Downstate, Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. He has devoted his time and expertise to patient care in a variety of positions, including multiple roles as an attending physician, assistant professor, medical director, and CEO. Most recently, he held the title of Chairman of Overlook Medical Center’s Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Forestine has expanded his impressive medical skill set to include the treatment of venous diseases and conditions, including that of varicose veins, spider veins, and chronic vein disease, as he now specializes in minimally invasive treatments of chronic venous insufficiency. He provides a variety of minimally invasive options for patients in pursuit of long-term results and …meaningful relief. He expertly performs varicose vein and spider vein treatments, including endovenous laser ablations, radiofrequency ablations, ultrasound-guided and visual sclerotherapy, laser vein removal, Varithena®, and VenaSeal™. He is dedicated to delivering both pain relief and aesthetic improvements for his patients. He is passionate about providing the New York and New Jersey communities with minimally invasive solutions to common, bothersome symptoms — such as restless legs, leg swelling/edema, itching sensations, bulging or visible veins, pain while standing, cramping, and more. Dr. Forestine boasts a variety of certifications, including advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), basic life support (BLS), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).
