Dr. Anthony John Malvasi, DO

Dr. Malvasi so exemplifies the LeMoyne College (Where he was an undergrad) position statement, "Each day at Le Moyne College, we strive for greatness, but always through the eyes of goodness." This is a doctor who always strives for the best medical understanding and treatment of his patients and his empathy and ACTIVE listening harken back to the days of the small town doctor who took AS MUCH TIME AS NEEDED to help patients! He also treats his patients like the educated partners in health that they deserve to be. The fact that he is so compassionate and warm with a sense of humor is icing on the cake. Let us hope Syracuse can keep this diamond here for some time...

Dr. Malvasi takes the time to really listen, and then gives you the very best advice. He is as knowledgeable as he is kind, as caring as he is a joy to be around (as is his staff!). I moved here a few years back from a TV journalism job in Los Angeles. I thought I would never find the same excellence in Syracuse as I did at Cedars Sinai and UCLA. Dr. Malvasi exceeded all expectations.

Dr. Malvasi is a wonderful doctor. I am a challenging patient with a few different health related issues (chronic migraines being one). Dr. Malvasi has listened to my concerns and suggestions and also offers any information he can to help me. Dr. Malvasi has also let me know that he is willing to write any referral needed if I think that I need to see a specialist for my health concerns. He has a wonderful sense of humor as well that makes you feel comfortable and right at home. It is obvious that Dr. Malvasi genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Malvasi.

Dr. Malvasi really helped me out with my on going health problem when they were real bad, stayed with me for the longest time to make sure I was doing better, saw me like every 2nd day. Was on top of things to make sure that everything check out and personally call me at home to find out how I was doing. Drs like Dr. Malvasi are hard to find it’s today’s world.

Dr. Malvasi has been very attentive, and empathetic towards my concerns, and needs as a patient. He has ensured that all questions and/or concerns are addressed promptly.

Dr. Malvasi impressed me by stating he would stay and work with me at his office for as long as it takes to nail down what my immediate medical issue was, which he did and I will be forever grateful for his caring and tenacity!
