3 1/2 years ago I first met Dr. Squillaro when I was hospitalized for severe pneumonia and a para esophageal hernia. I was very sick, needed surgery and had been through a battery of tests including abdomen and chest x rays and scans. When another issue arose, a large cyst on my lung, the Dr. was called in. He was calm, very professional and said he had to determine if it was cancerous, and growing. A biopsy +/or surgery was involved, and he explained both in detail. He paid close attention to the size and over the course of the first year, it remained stable but over the course of the next 2 years, it got smaller. Here I am 3 1/2 years out and at my most recent apt. I was told that I good to go and have no further need for his monitoring. He is an honest doctor who does not immediately jump into surgery like so many, but waits and observes and assesses. His experience and knowledge and actual care for the patient are all invaluable to a patient. He made my waiting all the more easy… because I knew I was in very good hands. I would easily and highly recommend Dr. Squillaro to anyone in need of his specialized services. Be calm and he will help you through it all!

In this dark time of rare compassion and with technology taking over sensitivity, it is such a comfort to have found a doctor like Dr. Squillaro. He is an oasis of hope in the desert of despair when it comes to being faced with a serious health condition. When my husband heard the stinging news from his CT scan that showed a very suspicious lung nodule, which is most likely cancer, we, like many, were devastated. Such a disquieting report can cause anxious care to come up into the heart of us both. This is especially challenging due to the fact that my husband is a quadriplegic with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. What may be routine treatment for many, like surgery, is not an option for him. However, with the care and expertise of Dr. Squillaro, he always gives us hope and comfort that we can fight and find options suitable for my husband. It’s been said that the healing process starts with a good doctor. We were impressed with the time he took, and the detail he went into before the surgery. My Mom had a partial lung removal after many years of smoking at the age of 82. She was home in 11 days with no complications. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Squillaro.

I have had to have three surgeries by Dr Squillaro. Carodid artery,Abdominal aneurysm and Poplateal artery bypass. My wife also has had carodid surgery by him. We love him and trust him with our lives.

Dr. Squillaro is very down to earth and right to the point. He takes time with you and explains everything and shows his concern. The office staff is also pleasant. I would recommend him to anyone who needs this kind of surgery. Thank you, Grace Hudson
