“Having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abilities.” This is Dr Kahn in a nutshell. Too self involved to help anyone else.

This place will give you nothing but PROBLEMS. Dr Khan has a habit of cancelling his appointments last minute. He is often late to his appointments and seems to come in whenever he pleases. When I confronted the front staff with my concerns, they got defensive and made ridiculous excuses for his absence. This was now the second time he had cancelled one me due to an "emergency". When I spoke to the manager regarding my concerns they got defensive and asked me if I wanted to see a Nurse Practitioner instead. I can't believe this place is even in business considering their lack of care for their patients. They do not respect patient confidentiality as I can hear them talk about patients medications and their conditions over the phone which is right next to the waiting area. This is clearly a HIPPA violation... I am shocked that this place is open for business...

If you feel you stuck with this doctor due to Medicare.. don't worry. In Plainfield and chicago area you can get virtual doctors that take Medicare without copay (zocdoc). I don't even know where to begin on how horrible this provider is, and this is not coming from only worried family member.. but also as a nurse. He is not held accountable for his actions in any way.. staff constantly get calls of complaints that they do not call you back for 4+ days. First appointment was confirmed via email, I then missed a call while in a meeting so they canceled on my family with no notice. Second appointment was confirmed multiple times via email, and phone, for early evening. The doctor did not grace us with his call till 7:30pm at night. Roughly 4 hours after the the schedule appointment. The appointment lasted 5 minutes and we were billed for 1hr. He then requested us to follow up within 1 month and stated he was going to change the medication of the stable patient with… bipolar. Patient has been stable for 15yrs... why would he change the meds within 5 minutes? After multiple attempts to make a follow up, i finally heard back from them. They scheduled an appointment without my knowledge.. luckily i did not miss it. They sent to the pharmacy my family's wrong name, wrong address for medications. Very unprofessional, but we thought we had no other option for our area with Medicare. The week of our second appointment, we once again had to confirm multiple times via phone, and email so we would not lose our appointment. The appointment was scheduled for 2:45pm. The day before the appointment we were verbally told the appointment was at 3-4pm. When asked about the discrepancies, they state since it was a virtual appointment there was a window block from 3-4pm. The day of the last appointment my fragile family member was waiting by the phone till after 4pm when she had to potty. Of course, that was the time when they called. We returned multiple calls back starting from 2 minutes after missed call till 3 days later, almost hrly. During this time we lost all little trust in Dr. Khan that we had. I vigilantly looked for another psychiatrist that can continue my mother's medication regime. Luckily i found a place that took her Medicare with no copay for virtual visits. We canceled my family members debt card since Dr.khan had it on file so there would be no mystery charges down the road and quickly switched. When attempting to contact the office to inform them of the lack of professionalism, they stated the doctor can do as he likes and the office manager hears these complaints often. I do not know how he doesn't get his licensed pulled yet, and how he can still practice psychiatry. I feel his neglance will harm someone. Neglancy = abuse.

He was overcrowded for my kids appointment I was told reschedule after paying the co pay of course then when we went back he grilled us as to why we had to reschedule followed by see people with no good insurance are irresponsible and how about you find a new dr for your kid! All in all he’s rude office is dirty the staff is unorganized and he literally spends 5 mins tops with his patients!

Money hungry.. what more can I say? legit had a one and a half week long battle with him and my pharmacy because he wouldn't call them because of a mistake HE made about how much the dosage of the medicine. he never follows up on after appointments and its literally looks at folder.. how are you feeling uh huh.. uh huh.. any thoughts of hurting yourself or others? circles things. okay your done come back in _ weeks. legit 5 maybe 10 mins in and out. worst doctor i have ever been to, i feel ridiculed every time I go in there.

No follow up from this office causing frequent delays in treatment and medication. Worst office we have ever delt with.

1.) The doctors office is grossly under staffed. The staff turnover is ridiculous and the staff changes month to month. 2.) In 2 years, the doctor has never been on time. The secretary/office manager has to lie for the doctor and tell the patients waiting that “the doctor is on his way from the hospital and running 30-45min late”. 3.) The doctor is extremely condescending. The doctor claims to be religious, but he has no bedside manner and he is not compassionate for his patients. 4.) Profit comes before his patients. 5.) The doctor goes on vacation regularly and has nobody in his office to help in case of a patient emergency.

Horrible---spends 5 minutes, bills medicare for 35 minutes per visit...I will be reporting him to medicare and hope he goes to jail !

The office is a mess and I’m not just talking dirty floors. The staff is rotating every month.There is no privacy as to why you are there as they shout out what meds your on ect.Dr Kahn is by far one of the rudest individuals.He is more interested in you paying your deductible because apparently his patients owe him millions.
