Dr. Arun Kumar Devakonda, MD

Dr. Devakonda is phenomenal. He saved the life of my critically ill mother who was admitted to the ICU. She was diagnosed with late-stage COPD at that time. Dr. Devakonda has helped stabilize my mother's condition which has allowed her to have a better quality of life. You can tell that Dr. Devakonda truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients. I once called his office with concerns about my mother's symptoms. He personally returned my call and assuaged my concerns. I would recommend Dr. Devakonda to anyone and I am extremely grateful that he was the doctor assigned to my mother's care.

Dr. Devakonda was my husband's lung doctor for 8 years. He is a lung cancer survivor. The Dr. said no need to schedule any more appointments, We are going to call you cured. He told him if he has any issues to give him a call. Well. We have an issue. COVID. Called the Dr. because my husband is having a really hard time catching his breath. I was told he hasn't been there since 2018 so he suggested calling his primary care physician. Our primary doctor is in semi-retirement and only comes in twice a week. I hope my husband lives long enough to see our primary care physician. I can't believe his pulmonary Dr. won't help him. Very strange. He seemed a knowledgeable Dr. but how could he leave one of his patients in dire need stranded on this covid island? I highly don't recommend. Obviously if you dont have a multi thousand dollar procedure he is done with you. Just wow.

Dr Deveconda is one in a million. He is very professional as is his staff and very personable. Dr. Is very respectful and will listen intently then discuss throughly the problems and solutions. Whenever the need arises he himself will call you with results of your tests and concerns, that is worth a million to me, thank God I found him.
