Dr. Azubueze Afam Adogu, MD

I saw the good doctor at a time of ill health. After already consulting with 3 other kidney specialists with no answers, my family doctor referred me to him. It was the best decision my family doctor ever made for me. I had a serious kidney inflammation, but I pulled through. From day #1, I knew I was in good hands.

Dr. Adogu is very competent in his field of work. He has very good patient skills makes one feel comfortable seeing him. He should maybe converse more about the blood work and other diagnoses found......I have to always ask if everything is ok. Yet he is still a Dr I would recommend because he is very intelligent about kidney functions and other work in his field.

After talking to Vanessa, I will go to the doctor! (I was putting off going bc of no insurance and only working part time.) She explained valid reasons to come, even to rule out problems AND she gave excellent first-hand reference to his competency, caring, and professionalism.

Nice looking office, first-rate staff, clearly well-trained doctor, but please cut down on the jokes already!!- kidney failure is too scary for a patient to listen to medical jokes. But the doc knows his stuff.

The wait was long and there were patients scheduled much too close to receive proper time with the doctor. Although my problem was fairly minor, I had a lot of questions. There is a definite language barrier that was uncomfortable and borderline embarrassing for me.

I was impressed! Great guy, good staff, detailed and complete exam. Was on the ball from day #1

I know I can be demanding, but he is really that good!

Dr. Adogu was a few minutes late, but only because he was taking his time with his patients. I didn't mind waiting because he took that extra time with me. I am so thankful for him. His office staff is wonderful and go the extra step to make sure I'm comfortable.
