Dr. Babak Naghshieneh Rad, MD

I can’t thank Dr Rad enough. He saved my wife’s life when she had already seen many specialists. He removed her entire large intestine.. at the beginning he was maybe complicated and slightly arrogant, but it turned out for the good .. he used the same energy to pull out all the stops and do what was needed.. to save my wife.. ( I remember in his office he cracked a joke that she had a very expensive a$$, plus an ileostomy meant there would be no more poop and link .. he does have a very quirky and warm human side .. he’s fun when you get to know him, full of off the wall jokes/comments that take you by surprise .. the office workers ( Rebecca) were the same really.. cold at first, then extremely helpful where they would go out of their way to help. This period was one of the most significant times I have gone through .. Dr Rad saved my wife’s life and I will always be grateful for that.

Dr. Rad performed surgery on me and he took the time to explain the surgery in advance. He was always thoughtful, thorough and my surgery was a complete success. I have complete confidence in Dr Rad's capabilities.

I don’t know where to start, from Dr. Rad having to reschedule visit after visit, to having to make call after call for test results, it’s a long list. I think he’s a good Dr., but there is no follow up, and he just doesn’t get it.

The office staff were the rudest bunch of women I’ve ever encountered at a medical office. They took my weight and height and argued with me saying I was 4 inches shorter than I was! A.) what’s this have to do with my appointment, and b.) I think I know my height at 40 years old. I felt like it was a set up joke. Unbelievably lame! Then, the doctor was so unfriendly and arrogant I could not even explain my problem without him talking over me every second. This is not the way to conduct a professional practice! They all need to get done real training , perhaps by some Cedars doctors! I do not recommend this office .

Dr Rad may be highly qualified but seems distracted maybe more interested in high dollar treatments. The front office is deplorable, no one picks up and if they do they never return your call even when the say they will. Forget leaving messages. Not recommended!

I am not pleased at all with the bedside manner of this doctor. I found him to be quite arrogant and had no interest in what I had to say. As far as his expertise , I won’t be back to find out. It’s unconfortable enough having that type of exam, it makes it more uncomfortable when your doctor is full of attitude.

After being diagnosed with Colon cancer I chise Dr. Rad to do my surgery to robotically remove part of my colon and the cancer. Great doctor grear experience!!

Dr. Rad is an extraordinary surgeon with an impeccable, patient bedside manner. His skill and care guided me through a colostomy take-down. His office staff is equally as caring, efficient, and professional. It was my good fortune to have access to such superlative medical treatment.

Dr. Rad came into my life unexpectedly and I couldn't say more positive comments about him. His bedside manner is warm, calming and positive. He provided me with my situation in a clear and concise way and provided a couple of options along with full detail of any and all risks involved. He called me the night before my surgery to make sure I was doing ok which helped so much to get through the prep - I actually slept well the night before! He is a true professional and I can see why he came so highly regarded. Thanks Dr. Rad for making a very large "bump in the road" easy to overcome and a pleasure to get the chance to know you.
