Dr. Barry J Klyde, MD

My name is Gretchen and I am Dr Klydes daughter in law. I am married to his son Alexander. I have two minor children. I am a victim of domestic violence at the hands of Dr Klydes son. Every phone call or plea for help that I placed to this man and his wife were ignored. For years until he and his wife Lynne blocked my number and got my parents to also follow suit. This family is sick and corrupt. He is unethical and has no moral compass. Seek care elsewhere, please. If this gets deleted- I will post again with screenshots.

This doctor only thinks in money, he is unconsidered, unprofessional and unethical.

Dr. Klyde seems competent, responsive and thorough in his assessment. He takes time to understand the patient's illness, performs seemingly helpful tests and treats the patient accordingly. He seems bright. Some of his office staff were nice, others patronizing and condescending. The phlebotomist/x-ray technician has a very poor bed-side manner. She seemed militant and condescending. Not pleasant, at all. The blonde haired eastern european sounding woman who takes payment at the end of your visit seemed patronizing and condescending. Not friendly or welcoming. The African American women with shoulder length curly hair was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and kind. She was, by far, the nicest. The woman who appeared to be from Jamaica seemed fine. Overall the doctor seemed competent, responsive and helpful. The office staff was less impressive. The visit was expensive, close to $1,000 and paid for out-of-pocket. I'm not sure if insurance is accepted. … Possibly worth the cost given the doctor's expertise.

Dr. Klyde is one of the most thorough Drs I have ever been too. Unlike many Drs, he spends as much time with you as necessary, listens to you, cares, and follows up. He sees you as an individual, not as as an illness.

Dr. Klyde saved my life when the hemophilia people in an unnamed famous hospital failed to give me correct advice. Always, he has the bedside manner of a saint, listening attentively to detect the relevant facts amongst all the extraneous details one may be prone to provide, following through to an appropriate plan in keeping with one's health goals. (If you don't adore him, it's time to see a pshrink.)

Dr.Barry Klyde is THE MOST AMZING DR EVER. I had been not well for almost 2 years. I lived in Florida and went to 7 Dr.'s all who misdiagnosed me. This Dr is Superb he actually loves what he does and wants the patient to get better. I have to say it was very refreshing to be around that since before seeing him all I saw was Dr.'s just wanted to write a million prescriptions and blame me for me for all my ailments. He spend a lot of time talking to me. I was so impressed by his professionalism and he wrote 5 pages of notes on me it was wonderful. He asked me my symptoms and actually knew what I had just from that. He even examined me. I not only had Hassimotos but I also had PCOS which I had gone from a size 0 to a 12 in a very short time frame. He also took blood work. Dr. Klyde is now Dr even though I live in Florida he is one of the rare Dr.'s out there who has a True Passion for what he does. He is Truly Excellent. If, you are not getting better and you have been to many Dr.'s like… me even if you do not live close he is SOOO WORTH IT...YOU WILL LOVE HIM. He is also very caring. I have gotten so much better since going to him.

All Dr. Klyde did was charge me an insane amount of money, do expensive tests which he never confirmed with me that he was doing, and tell me things I already knew. I would not recommend Dr. Klyde!

Dr. Klyde took plenty of time asking questions, then ordered appropriate tests, then correctly diagnosed. The whole process was smooth, with almost no downtime/waiting at all. The follow up was excellent and the doctor was available to address any issues in between appointments. My condition improved substantially, the symptoms are all but gone and it seems I may be fully cured in near future. To recap, Dr. Klyde is simply excellent and I recommend him 100%.

Dr. Klyde is the best endocrinologist out there - without a doubt. For that reason, I pay over $1000 each visit, even though I have insurance and could see other endocrinologists for only a $40 copay. It's just a shame that one staff member, Ann Marie, is so rude and never follows up with what you ask her to do. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have called to request refills for my medication, it is never done. I'm not talking about waiting a few hours...I'm talking over a week! Ann Marie won't apologize when she forgets to do her job, and she forgets to do it EACH and EVERY time, and then blames the doctor! I'm diabetic and can't wait days for the office to open again so that I can remind her that she still hasn't done what I asked her to do a week ago. And I certainly don't expect this kind of service when I pay over $1000 in cash each visit to see the doctor! For $1000 a visit, I expect my prescriptions to be called in, and an apology if they are not! I don't expect to be hung up on. After all,… I only call the office two-three times a year to request refills.

I've been Dr. Klyde's patient for 11 years. I came to him with menopausal symptoms and a thyroid condition that, because I also have cardiac arrhythmia, is difficult to treat. He found a way to treat all my symptoms, without side effects or long-term negative consequences. He's a very good doctor: no ego, no flash, just competence.
