Dr. Barry Craig Pevner, MD

I have been going to see Dr Pevner for the past three years and had a horrible experience with him in January ! During my annual visit in November, I informed Dr pevner I needed FMLA and he told me to have my job send him the forms to sign (even though I had a printed copy with me). A few weeks ago, I was able to complete the FMLA request process and had the papers faxed to his office. I went to the office 2 Wednesday?s ago to ask the office if he had received the fax (since he is only in the office once a week). The office manager told me yes and that I would need make an appointment for a visit to have it filled out. When I informed her that the Dr had told me to have the papers sent to him, Dr Pevner did NOT EVEN say hello to me or approach me. From his office door, he yelled at me… what? Are you worried about a 25$ payment??… In front of everyone in the waiting room. I was highly disappointed and in shock of his rude and uncaring way of speaking to me. Terrible experience !!

The office was closed due to the pandemic but the staff was very nice and got back to me the same day. Pilar emailed me test orders and an X-ray request. I did everything and then scheduled a video Telemedicine call the following day. Excellent staff and attention to detail. Thanks

Dr. Pevner is the best doctor I have ever had. He is a true human being with understanding about peoples' situations and issues and knowledge about his trade in health restoration and medicine. I'm glad I found him, and he will be my doctor; I hope forever. Nowadays, it is very hard to find a good complete doctor that cares, and he does. He runs an excellent business with his practice and his staff, and he is highly ethical with his patients by personally responding to situations. He walks the talk with his actions. I will be forever thankful for what he has done for me. God bless you Dr. Pevner.

Dr. Pevner always has you in and out in no time. He also listens to your concerns. I have recommended this place to many friends and will continue to do so.

Seemed to respect my time. My last doctor only let me see the Physician Assistant who wasn’t a doctor. They ordered X-rays blood tests and an ultrasound. Also gave me a form for my work without complaint. Good office.

Dr. Pevner is very friendly, compassionate and understanding. I value his professional opinion. His office is state of the art and very clean. I have always found the staff polite and helpful. He always makes a prompt diagnosis of my problems which I think is excellent.

Dr. Pevner's office sent me a letter telling me to find another Doctor within 30 days. This request came from his office Staff after having some higher utilization of claims, and needing to speak to the Office Staff several times about small problems. They seem to make a mountain out of a molehill when viewing small patient problems as big problems. The exact same cancellation of Primary Care letter was sent to two other people we know, when they made frequent claims and needed special service or problem resolution over the phone. He seems to be a nice person in general and a good Physician, but IF you cannot count on his office when the times get rough, you should not be registering with his office for Primary Care,,,,FIND A DIFFERENT OFFICE. He also has a history of changing insurance carriers often, creating bumps in the availability of care. The people (three that we know of) who were cancelled were "Centers of Influence" in the S.W. Florida area as far as referring friends… and co-workers to his office. His Office Staff seems to quickly burn bridges versus resolving what could be small patient or service problems.

Rude doctor and rude staff. Does not deserve to have any patients.
