Dr. Beatrice Christina Klade, MD

When I was 39 years old colon burst and I developed peritonitis so acute that there was no room for my lungs to expand when I took a breath. Dr. Klade operated on me for 5 hours. Her operation and the top-notch aftercare that she enforced saved my life.

Dr. Klade did my surgery (double mastectomy) in Nov. 2013, and she was terrific. She spent plenty of time with me and my family going over my diagnosis and surgical options before the surgery, and she discussed how the surgery went with my family while I was in Recovery. She referred me to a wonderful Plastic Surgeon, and recommended that I meet with him to explore reconstruction options even though I wasn't initially interested in considering that. I followed her advice, and ended up having immediate reconstructive surgery as well. Dr. Klade took plenty of time with me, and answered the myriad questions that I had, which very much put me at ease during a difficult time. I highly recommend Dr. Klade - I couldn't have gotten through this without such a wonderful Surgeon by my side. AAA+++..

I should've stuck with the reviews for her. I was the first appt that morning and she still showed up 30min late!!! Then, when she did get there, she stood in her office gossiping about her weekend events; I had already been sitting there over an hr. She was nice, under the circumstances, but seemed extremely ditzy. She made my "routine" surgery sound like I was going to be part of a horror movie and die on the table!!!!Took me 3 weeks to get in for the appointment and another 2 weeks for the surgery.....and then my surgery time kept changing and when I asked why...all i was told was "because these are Dr. Klides rules". FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!

Not sure why she is a doctor, people seem to bother her, as a patient of hers I felt like I was bothering her or being to needy. My incision became infected and she was not on call and she was not interested in my infection, she told me to call in 24 hours if I still had " a problem"

I asked the doctor to call me with my test results, but she never did. She said I had to come in for another exam to get them, even though we had already discussed follow-up options at the original visit and exam.

I have only great things to say about Dr. Klade. She is friendly, helpful, does not rush through patients, and most importantly, her surgical skills are outstanding.
