Dr. Benjamin Chen-Yu Tam, MD

I had a good experience with Dr Benjamin's office visit. I was called back by office for a same visit. Was properly and politely taken care of by staff, MA assistant and Dr Tam. He knew what he was talking about and his reassurance put me at ease. He was my 2nd opinion doctor and therefore I was prepared and already had done research as to what would be best for me. Thus far, I am confident that his surgerical work will meet my expectations as did my office visit.

The most memorable thing about this doctor is that he is condescending. He is so sure of his own opinion, that he has no problem telling the patient that the pain they are feeling is not typical and that it must be in their head. And this is without doing any other tests, but an x-ray, then proceeded to bend the patient's thumb in a painful way because he is already convinced that his opinion is above the patient's pain. It's no wonder the last review said this doctor is a low class Chinese doctor. Perhaps, he's Chinese, but that's not what makes him a negative doctor. His conceited, bedside is terrible.

Deny to see patient because he has another schedule. Rough! No professional manner! Low class Chinese doctor
