Dr. Bessie Ann Ingram-Nunally, MD

Doctor Ingram has been my doctor for over 20 years. I nicknamed her 'My Angel' because I was having breast issues and I went to several doctors for help, and was told on several occasions that the lump and pain that I was feeling was in my mind. I went to doctor Ingram, who felt the lump that I was feeling and she sent me to immediately to have an ultrasound. She then referred me to a surgeon for a biopsy. I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in 3 days. I thank God for Dr. Ingram and that she took me serious and didn't just ignore my concerns like some other doctors did. Doctor Ingram genuinely cares and is concerned about her patients!

Premier Health (Dr. Ingram's office)merged with Community Health Centers, patients were not notified or given the option to change providers. Poor/no communication to patients regarding change. Patients are unable to make timely appointment even when ill; patients are told to go to Dodson Avenue, Southside Health Centers or ER? No "sick patient" appointments available. Many changes without concern for patient or notification to patient regarding what to expect.

In and out room. Less than 30 seconds.

If I could give a zero stars review I would. Went for an regular check up and complained about pain on my upper left abdomen, she looks at it and pokes it once and said "it is due to you being heavy- wear a girdle". Three days later in extensive pain I went to Physicians Care and discovered 3 kidney stones that required surgery to remove. Will not be back.

Dr spends less than 30 seconds with you. You feel like cattle at auction . She doesn't have near enough time for you during visits.

Am very pleased with Dr. Ingram. Have been seeing her for 12 years and respect her opinion and her medical savvy along with her bedside manner. She seems to really care for her patients.
