Dr. Brian Scott Aprill, MD

Dr. Aprill is thorough and sweet. The first time I visited, he commented about my home town, meaning he took the time to actually read my patient history! After encountering many doctors who make assumptions, I am thankful to find one who care. Side note: He is also a great super of the music industry!

He came in the room and asked if I had a referral. I told him that I showed and emailed it to the front desk. He said I have to have it printed. He went to the front desk to ensure I did have a referral and then came back. Those were his first words to me. He cared nothing about me or my health issues, he just wanted to make sure he got paid! He has horrible bedside manner!!! I would NEVER recommend this DR!!! Out of all the issues I was having...for 1, I had just had a major brain surgery that removed an Endocrine gland.. He is an Endocrinologist... he tested me for 1 thing and sent me back to my PCM.

Your visit will consist of him reading last visits labs, see if you followed through with meds, water swallow test and labs. He is in the room 3-5 minutes only. Zero smiles and zero personality. I’d just like a smile and my questions answered. If you ask him about a new issue, he just says that’s not my speciality. His staff is very straight forward as well. It’s just a very ridged environment. I just want to hug him and tell him to stop and enjoy life. He has zero personality.

Suppose to be an endocrinologist but knows nothing about hormones. I went in with severe hyperthyroid symptoms and TSH at 0.3 and he said my level were not yet at zero so there was nothing wrong with me. I was having severe muscle weakness and at times could barely stand up and other hormonal issues. I said what is causing my symptoms then? I said it gets worse around my period so I think its hormonal. He told me to go see my gyno there was nothing wrong with me. I said aren't you a hormone doctor? and doesn't it seem that it might be hormonal if it is effected by my cycle? He said its time for you to leave and kicked me out of his office!!! He was extremely insensitive and unprofessional. If your levels are not at zero he won't even bother to try and see what the problem is. Stay away from this "doctor"

Never cares about how you feel.Just go get the blood drawn and that is my appoinrment.

I was referred to Dr. Aprill a few years ago by Dr. Melissa Reynolds. From the very first time I met Dr. Aprill I was impressed with his knowledge of my condition and his recommendation for treatment. He's very professional in every way. I would recommend him to anyone. Always pleasant and kind.

Dr. Aprill pulled me back from the intensive care unit and over the past year or so, my diabetes is very well under control. My last A1c reading was 4.5, and the proof is in the results. I can usually get in and out of his office in under 20-25 minutes (which includes waiting room time and blood tests). I will recommend Dr. Aprill to anyone without hesitation.

Dr. April and his staff are very professional and caring. They are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at ease. I have been extremely pleased with the care they have provided.

Dr. Aprill is a great physician. He is more than competent and knowledgeable and he goes above and beyond by preparing for my office visit ahead of time. I feel I am in excellent care with Dr. Aprill.
