Dr. Brian Kenneth Brighton, MD

We took our daughter, who has cerebral palsy, for a routine visit. She was perfectly fine and happy before the visit, but during the visit when Dr. Brighton was examining her he was so rough with her that she was screaming in agony. He did an x-ray after the examination (even though one was done before it) because he was concerned that he may have broken a bone or something during the examination. If you have to take an x-ray to cover yourself because you think you might have done something wrong---you have a very serious problem! He said there was nothing wrong on the x-ray, meanwhile may daughter is still screaming and he sent us home. She cried all night in intense pain (her jaw was quivering because of it) and then all the next day and night. We have her positioned where she can fall asleep at night, but she still wakes up in severe pain. Diaper changes are excruciating. This has been going on for five days now! This has not happened with any of the other doctors that she has seen… (and she has seen many). She has NEVER been in this much pain. This man should not be allowed to practice as he has violated the most important part of the Hippocratic Oath--Primum non nocere!

How can this guy have this high of a rating? He only wants to surgically correct children for the money. He’s also extremely condescending. AVOID.

Treated my daughter and after a extremely bad break of her left arm. Extra Ordinary Knowledge and excellent bed side manner not only with the child but the parent as well. Have been recommending him for the past five years

I have had trouble with my left hip for a few years. It would not stay in the socket and had become very painful. I have Duchenne muscular dystrophy and am confined to a wheelchair. It was becoming more difficult for me to put the leg back in the socket. Dr. Brighton spent plenty of time with me and my mother to explain the surgical procedure.Since I have Duchenne muscular dystrophy, any surgery has to be carefully considered and performed. We were encouraged to make a list of questions and concerns we had. His explanations and answers were very easy to understand. The surgery went well and Dr. Brighton took the time to explain to my mom what he had done and answer her questions. He checked on me each of the three days I was in the hospital. One of those days was Thanksgiving. At my follow up, he carefully checked everything. My incision has healed well and my leg has remained in the socket. The care I received by him and all the other people involved was exceptional.

Dr Brighton is kind and compassionate and extremely knowledgable. Completely satisfied with his service and that of his staff.
