Thank you! You and your staff made my life better. I saw you more than 10 years ago. I have 2 screws in my left foot. I love that you changed my life. Oh and can wear heels!

After a steel plate and seven screws in a relatively simple fracture of my right fibula (2 mm separation, which I was told was borderline for requiring repair) I continue to have swelling, numbness, pain, burning and discoloration in my foot. My three middle toes and the ball of my foot are hypersensitive, with the toes having a thermostat of their own. At any given time, my toes may be ice cold or unusually warm. Typically I can relate this to environmental changes, however, not always. I have only seen the Doctor once and this was my last appointment at which point I was scolded for following the direction of his PA, Todd Ostley. They have a very poor perspective on pain management, as I had to go to my primary care physician for a non- narcotic nerve pain medication, after they refused it. I was actually told by the PA 'that would be addressed after Physical Therapy had been given a chance.' Then when Physical therapy has made very little difference, I was told, ". . . it has… been three months, the bone has healed, and you do not and can not have pain." When I asked why it feels the way it does the doctor says he has no idea, that he doesn't think it does. He also wanted to know why I wasn't at work yet. MY ANKLE FEELS LIKE IT HAS COCKLE BURS IN IT. I can't wear shoes! I wore the brace to this appointment, which burns like fire on the top of my foot, only because the last appointment when I didn't wear it his PA told me should be wearing the stupid thing. Dr. Padrta was disgusted that I was still wearing it AND using crutches. I have been using the crutches off and on as the pain level determines. When my feet hurt too much I use the crutches. All he did was cut me up. My PCP was the only one to acknowledge I had pain past the two week post operative point. In closing, my right foot is a complete shoe shoe size larger than the left due to swelling and I can no longer wear pull on shoes due to the pain in my ankle. I used to work 3-4 12 hour shifts a week as a nurse. He says there is no reason I can't go back to work. I do not know how I will do this as I will need strong pain meds (which I have tried to avoid) to handle the pain he denies I have! I feel if he is knowledgeable he certainly lacks empathy and compassion.

Exceptional, I'd fly to another country to pay privately for him he is an expert and a real person!

Somewhat complicated foot surgery. Excellent, caring surgery staff. Great pain management post-op. Good follow-up care. Would recommend.

Very thoughtful diagnosis and careful post-op plan to ensure proper healing. He removed a bone chip in my ankle and smoothed the bones that had been abraded by the chip. I had been in pain for years - thank you Dr. Padrta.

My husband had his heel rebuilt by Dr. Padrta. It was a really bad situation but he did a pretty good job on him. I would go to him in a heartbeat if I was in a similar situation.

DR.PADTRA DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON MY TORN ACHILLES. IT WAS AN UNUSUAL TEAR AND NOW AFTER A COUPLE OF YEARS I AM BACK TO RUNNING WITH NO PROBLEMS.
