Dr. Candace Victoria Bryan, MD

Dr Bryan is very good! Her practice group is terrible. After being ignored, maltreated, having a valid appointment cancelled, then rescheduled for much later, I went elsewhere!

Kind bedside manner and wicked smart, definitely the best in the business.

Dr. Bryan was thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. We discussed difficult topics and she was straightforward yet empathetic. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Bryan is very competent, professional, and personable. She is truly interested in addressing the patient's issues, and best of all, she is ready to see you at your appointed time.

Dr. Bryan is definitely a 5-star doctor! She was spot on with a diagnosis that was made after running appropriate tests. After struggling for 35+ years with almost daily pain, I am now pain free. She is attentive and doesn't use any cookie cutter diagnosis as did other doctors.

DIAGNOSED WITH MS IN 2008, BASED ON MARGINAL INDICATORS (3 OLIGOCLONAL BANDS). 4+ YEARS OF TREATMENT USING AVONEX BY INJECTION. SUBSEQUENT TESTING BY ANOTHER NEUROLOGIST OUTSIDE OF THIS OFFICE IN 2013, USING LUMBAR PUNCTURE AND MRI, REVEALED ZERO (0) OLIGOCLONAL BANDS AND ZERO (0) BRAIN LESIONS. THESE RESULTS WERE PROVIDED TO DR. CANDACE V. BRYAN WHO OFFERED NO EXPLANATION EXCEPT QUESTIONING THE COMPETENCE OF THE RETESTING TECHNICIANS AND DOCTORS. DR. CANDACE V. BRYAN CONTINUED TO INSIST THAT I DID HAVE MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS DESPITE THESE NEGATIVE RESULTS AND REFUSED TO REVIEW THE MRI IMAGES THAT WERE PROVIDED TO HER. DESPITE MULTIPLE REQUESTS FOR HER FEEDBACK ON THESE FINDINGS, I RECEIVED NO RESPONSE FROM HER, OR THE HEAD OF THE MEDICAL GROUP, DR. JAMES P. SIMSARIAN. IF I COULD, I WOULD GIVE HER A RATING OF ZERO (0). HOWEVER, THE OPTION OF ZERO (0) STARS IS NOT OFFERED. I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT ANYONE BEING TREATED BY DR. CANDACE V. BRYAN OF NEUROLOGY CENTER OF FAIRFAX, GET A SECOND… OPINION, FROM A DIFFERENT PRACTICE.

An emergency room doctor ordered me to locate a neurologist for Sensory Disturbance, headaches, and pain in the limbs. I researched Dr Candice V Bryan, MD (neurologist) through my health provider and read excellent reviews on the â??Vitalsâ?? website. I contacted Dr. Bryanâ??s office for an appointment. The receptionist asked for my employment information. I informed the receptionist that I was disabled and she asked what were my disabilities. I felt this information was irreverent since I called about issues with my head, but I shared the information. The receptionist asked me to hold the phone and returned and said, â??If you should need paperwork filled out for disabilities purposes we donâ??t do that.â?? I felt the receptionist was rude and out of line. She made me feel really bad for being disabled. Therefore, I disregarded scheduling an appointment. I was appalled this receptionist made an assumption just because I was disabled. I wish circumstances had happened differently,… because I learned that doctor Bryan is an excellent physician. Now, I will never know. I hope Dr Bryan review this piece and tweak her receptionistâ??s mannerism for her potential disability patients.

I feel very blessed to have Dr Bryan as my Neurologist. I've been a patient of hers since 2007 and she has taken very good care of me. She's very through and takes the time to listen to my concerns. She and the staff are very loving & caring they make you feel like family: D

I had been experiencing very painful migranes at work which was subsequently interfering with my work life and even how much sleep I was getting. I was persuaded by my wife to go and get it checked out and was ultimately led to Dr. Bryan. Let me first say her bedside manner is second to none, as she made me feel comfortable and interested in what was really going wrong (I thought it was going to be much worse!). The staff was friendly, but Dr. Bryan definitely made my experience the best it could have been. To all those who are upset with the current state of medical affairs, there's still hope!
